The main reason you get bags or dark patches under the eyes is lack of sleep, dehydration and too many late nights. The best way to get rid of them is to get plenty of rest, drink lots of water and moisturise regularly under the eye area.
Quick Fix:
a. Use under eye concealer to cover up the dark patches under the eyes. This will give the appearance of freshening up your eyes too.
b. Make yourself a cup of green tea. Leave the tea bag to cool down for 10 minutes. Then lie flat on your back, close your eyes and leave the used tea bag over each eye for 5 minutes. This has a real soothing effect.
Do not wash your face with a cleanser more than once a day. Avoid any face wash that gives you the feeling of squeaky clean dry face straight after cleansing. Ideally, avoid all foaming face wash. These get rid of all natural oils from your face and your oil producing glands become overactive and produce more oil than normal to replace the natural oil lost through over-cleansing. This, in turn, makes your face even more oily.
Quick fix:
Use Matifiant anti-shine powder to get rid of any excess shine on your skin surface.
